FELC is a small but yet vibrant Congregation
They say that Dynamite comes in small packages. If you have had the opportunity to meet some of our members you would know that is true. Since it began in 1987, FELC has has endeavored to fulfill the mission of the Church. We have been through many phases of growth and decline. But, we are still here. Still plowing ahead with the determination to be that voice in the wilderness we call “The Forest”
Faithful Adherents to Traditional Content
As we continue to offer the community a traditional Lutheran experience, we hold true to the Dogma, Doctrine and Dictates of the Missouri Synod. We hold to the Lutheran Liturgy with a passionate flair for the historical sense of Praise and Worship. When we follow the LCMS sequence of services, we acknowledge the value of being a Traditional Lutheran Church.
A Lasting Impression of a sense of awe inspiring worship
It is our desire that we put forth a service of devotion and Praise that will Glorify our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Together we can achieve all that God has in store for us. When we rise to the occasion, there is nothing that we cannot accomplish together, we also understand that it is “We” as the “Church” hand in hand forging ahead. We invite all to join us on that Journey
Hello to the Faithful Forest Lutheran Church family:
I am so happy your doors are still open and hoping you are growing in members too.
Today happens to be my Uncle Morris’s 97th Birthday(He came with me to a few of your dinners and loved the food) and he is still able to live in his own country home he built on his farm in NW Ohio. He is the uncle I stayed with in “The Forest” when I worked as a travel RN in the winter and God lead me to attending Forest Lutheran. I stopped travel nursing after May,2024, and am now working full-time ER at the small hospital in Coldwater, MI, for 2 yrs. then will retire June 30, 2026. My husband is still working too. We are so fortunate for our health which allows us to work and be spectators of our grandchildren’s activities since all 9 live within an hour from us.
Hoping we will be able to travel to Silver Springs, FL, again someday and will visit you.
I am going through some of my “past paperwork” from my travels and came across a Forest Lutheran bulletin.
Blessings to all of You,
You are in my prayers,
Renee Richman

You can view their web site, facebook, etc. We are a contemporary LCMS that is growing especially with young families “who have come back to church after marrying and having children” so we are starting a pre-school this Fall. Of course, being close to the seminary is a blessing too.
